This room is located just 10 blocks or a 15-minute walk from downtown Lafayette, Louisiana. Downtown Lafayette is in the heart of Acadiana, center of Cajun culture and nightlife. The area has many restaurants, music venues, bars, and nightclubs. Free high-speed wireless internet and cable TV.

The guest bedroom is located at the front of the house and features a full (double) size bed. Guests have access to two shared bathrooms—one with an antique clawfoot bathtub, shower, and toilet, and the other with a shower and toilet. The master bedroom may be occupied by other guests.

A door code will be sent to you with additional check in instructions. Guests have access to a private room and all of the shared spaces in the home. Parking on premises is limited but street parking is always available.

Check-in and parking instructions are very detailed. 99% of our guests make it in with no issues. We might not be able to assist you after 10 PM. Please make sure you receive instructions via Airbnb app/e-mail on the day of your arrival by noon.

The neighborhood is in the popular downtown area of Lafayette, La. This historic neighborhood is often referred to as “Freetown Port Rico.” This area is generally quiet during the day with light to moderate foot traffic and occasional bicycles. However, guests can expect moderate noise due to nearby railroads and nightlife. Perfect for guests that want to experience all of the attractions of downtown! All shops, restaurants, and attractions are only a short walk/drive away!

This home is near the airport, downtown bus/train station, bikes are also popular downtown, and even use Uber or Lyft if you would like! There is plenty of available parking downtown if you have your own vehicle though!

This is a multi unit property: this includes the main house in the front and the upstairs apartment space in the back. All units have private entrances/door codes and a designated private outdoor space.
